Ashdown Media provides AW Construction with complete content for an all-new website to showcase the firm’s services and prowess



Often, as a business grows, it can expand at a rate where its infrastructure can’t keep pace and is left behind. This is what’s happened with AW Construction Limited, whose impressive growth over the past eight years has left them with a website that’s no longer fit for purpose.


With a new marketing guru on board, Greg McKenzie, a complete redesign of the firm’s website was prioritised, and Ashdown was appointed to provide the words to accompany it.


An impressive firm, AW Construction offers a wide array of services, including shopfitting and national rollouts for some of the UK’s biggest and best-known designer brands, banks and supermarkets. They also offer strip-out and white boxing, installing or upgrading ATM/IDM/TCRs, and work for private firms and local authorities.


Ashdown undertook a deep dive into AW Construction before our pens touched the paper. Spending time with Greg and Managing Director Tom Locke, we were fully briefed on AW's services, business ethos and culture to accurately portray the firm through the use of language, terminology and tone.


We were then tasked with providing chapters for the following subject areas, each with a target of 750 words:
